So I've been working pretty diligently at a lot of projects all at once, not the least of which has been maintaining this blog. Twice a week. With posts that usually require a lot more work than serendipity. Thousands of words, hours of writing, then editing. Honestly I couldn't ask for more.
But the broad narrative I've been following in Monday posts, the story of my journey through hardship, mind, and Europe is kind of coming to an end. It's been cool to do. Not everything I though it would be, but really interesting and rewarding work. I'll probably have a number of appendixes and related topics to cover over time. And I'm looking forward to that.
I'm also looking forward to looking forward rather than covering ancient history. I'd like to, at some point, talk about my creativity, productivity, processes, project and generally get better at describing what I do and how I do it. So I think that those kinds of posts are something to look forward to.
In the meantime, it's summer, I have a lot to do and can't (or don't want to) justify the labor of two blogs a week for a little while. So I'm going to come down to one post a week taking over the Monday time which has proved to be my best day for posting. I'll be at this for at least a little while and brush up some other things around here that need my attention.
That includes some life stuff. But also, I hope, will include some updates to the rest of the site, better content just less frequently, and hopefully more creative output in non-blog mediums. So there's a lot to look forward to, like my seventh Top 100 movie list, video essays, and so on.
That is all.
