Garbage Photography

You never know what people will find interesting. Recently a good friend of mine asked for some work I've done that might have fallen through the cracks as it were. Almost all of my work is work fits that bill, but the idea of showing any of it is pretty new to me.

Emma was found some interest in these photos I took of my apartment in Minneapolis in late 2016. For me they conjure some mixed-up feelings, usually a lot of brooding and some melancholy. Those are the sort of feelings that will make me outwardly dismiss almost anything. Hence the statement that these particular photographs must be shit.

Nevertheless, that very dismissal is what Sublet is very much about. So I am really happy to share some unlikely photography. As a whole, it's an opportunity to reconsider what is less than the best of a creative spark and therefore different.
